6. Country and Area Nomenclature
(6.1) The designations employed and the presentation of Material in the Site do not imply the expression of any opinion whatsoever on the CEB and its members concerning the legal status of any country, territory, city or area or of its authorities, or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers or boundaries. The term “country” as used in this Material also refers, as appropriate, to territories or areas.

This website is maintained by CEB Secretariat.
In addition to presenting its own content, this website serves as a portal to web sites of the United Nations, its funds and programmes, and specialized agencies. It also includes links to key projects and initiatives and to various joint programmes of the UN System. These web sites are administered by their respective organizational units. Questions and/or comments regarding them should be addressed directly to their appropriate site administrator using the contact form provided.
All information presented on this website is offered for general information and navigation purposes only. CEB assumes no liability for the accuracy of information provided. Some content is sourced by third parties and, therefore, may not necessarily reflect the opinion of the CEB nor its membership. This website is maintained by CEB Secretariat.
In line with established Internet usage, any external web site may provide a hyperlink to the CEB web site or to any of its pages without requesting permission. However this use must not infringe CEB's intellectual property rights, in particular relating to its name, emblem, copyright or authors' rights. The UN emblem may not be used in providing a link.
A link to the CEB web site must be used for information only, and not for the promotion of any organisation, product or service. A link to the CEB web site does not, and should not, imply any association between CEB and the owner of the linking site. Hyperlinks to the UN System web site should direct to the CEB homepage page or to complete pages that can be reached via navigation from the CEB home page. Links should not be made to an individual constituent of a page, for example text, picture or graphic. Our preference is that links should not be made direct to files that are available for download, for example pdf files, but to the web page from where you are able to download the files.
Third Party Content
Links from the CEB website are not to be interpreted as an endorsement by CEB of content on the site to which the link leads. CEB does not normally provide such links unless there is a clear association with CEB or UN System activities. CEB accepts no responsibility for the validity or accuracy of content posted on websites to which it links.
This principle extends to include content that is aggregated from UN system organizations and related entities and presented on the CEB website. Third-party content aggregated on the CEB website is published automatically and without editorial intervention. CEB Secretariat is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party content published on the CEB website.
Likewise, the publishing of content aggregated from Social Media platforms does not imply the endorsement of the CEB nor its member organizations of the content posted. Content of this nature is provided as a navigational aid only.
The designations employed and the presentation of material on this website do not imply the expression of any opinion on the part of the Secretariat of the Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) concerning the legal status of any country, territory, area, city or area or of its authorities, or concerning the delimitation of its frontiers or boundaries. The term “country” as used in this Material also refers, as appropriate, to territories or areas.
The depiction and use of boundaries, geographic names and related data shown on the map and included in lists, tables, documents, and databases on this web site are not warranted to be error free nor do they necessarily imply official endorsement or acceptance by the CEB or its member organizations. CEB is not accountable for the data and can not guarantee that they are correct, accurate or comprehensive. Member organizations are not accountable for any data presented on this page.
Visitors are not asked to provide any personally identifiable information to access the Site. Visitors may be asked to share their email address to subscribe to email alerts or when seeking contact with CEB Secretariat. In this event, the CEB Secretariat will store this information securely and will not share, rent or sell it to anyone other than CEB member organizations.
By accessing the Site, certain information such as Internet protocol (IP) addresses, navigation through the Site, the browser used and the time spent, along with other similar information, will be stored on our servers and on a third party analytics software. This information is treated confidentially. The purpose of this data collection is to understand better the preferences of the CEB website visitors and improve their experience on our pages. This information is never connected with any personal information that visitors supply to us if they register on the CEB website.
Cookies are used by the CEB website. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on the Site. By setting a cookie, the CEB website will remember the visitor the next time he/she visits the CEB website and therefore the CEB will not have to ask questions that the visitor has already answered. The visitor is always free to decline our cookies if his/her browser permits, although in that case he/she may not be able to use certain features on the site and may be required to re-enter information more frequently to use certain services on the CEB website.
