REPORT OF THE HLCP-HLCM JOINT SESSION (October 2023, Copenhagen)

The High-level Committee on Programmes (HLCP) and the High-level Committee on Management (HLCM) of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) held a joint session on The Use and Governance of Artificial Intelligence and Related Frontier Technologies on 4 October 2023 at UN City, Copenhagen. The joint session was generously hosted by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The meeting was co-chaired by the HLCP Chair, Ms. Inger Andersen, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and by the HLCM Chair, Ms. Catherine Pollard, Under-Secretary-General for Management Strategy, Policy and Compliance, United Nations.
