Report of 14th Session (25-27 September 2013, Copenhagen)

Conclusions of the Fourteenth Session of the High Level Committee on Management’s Procurement Network (HLCM PN), Copenhagen, 25-27 September 2013. The Session included updates from the Working Groups on Harmonisation, Supplier Access and Sustainable Procurement as well as a status report on the UN Global Marketplace (UNGM) and the projects on Vendor Eligibility, Collaborative Procurement, Harmonisation and the UNGM Vendor Registration Reform. The concept of a new Vendor Management Working Group was discussed as well as the simplifying the sharing of LTAs. The following ‘Show and Tell’ interventions were also part of the agenda: UNOPS Sustainable Procurement Initiatives; UN Initiative on Greening Procurement in the Health Sector; Global Payment Card Services; UNDP LTAs for Facility Assessment and Recommendations for Sustainability; Innovation at UNICEF Supply Division; U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Controls; UNDP’s Web Based Procurement Oversight Application; and Collaborative Procurement Initiative Among NY-Based Agencies.
