2012 Annual Overview Report

The present report provides an overview of major developments in inter-agency cooperation within the framework of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board for Coordination (CEB) in 2012.

The report highlights the key activities of CEB in fostering a coherent approach on policy, operational, and management matters to enhance United Nations system-wide coordination in support of the coordinating role of intergovernmental bodies. The report provides information on efforts to enhance coherence and coordination on system-wide preparation and follow-up to United Nations conferences and summits, operational activities of the United Nations system and administrative and management issues of system-wide concern. The report also highlights coordination activities between CEB and other jointly financed bodies.
