CEB Joint Statement to Rio +20

In this Joint Statement the members of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board, expressed their strong commitment to the success of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20). The members recognized that sustainable development had been an overarching goal of the international community since the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in 1992 and urged world leaders who  gathered at Rio+20 to renew the political commitment towards this goal so as to reset the world on a sustainable development path.
