ProcureNext Tech is a strategic initiative by the UN Procurement Network to guide the integration of next-generation technologies into procurement practices. Building on the foundation of the former Cognitive Procurement Working Group, ProcureNext Tech focuses on digitalisation, automation, artificial intelligence, and emerging tools that enhance procurement efficiency, transparency, and innovation. As procurement functions evolve across the UN system, this working group serves as a platform to share best practices, benchmark digital maturity, and support interagency collaboration in adopting transformative technologies. With a renewed mandate, clear deliverables, and diverse membership, ProcureNext Tech aims to position procurement as a digitally enabled function aligned with the UN’s broader modernization agenda.
