Performance Management and Staff Engagement
- Reports to: HLCM Human Resources Network
- Co-Chairs: WFP, UNOPS
Overview
The Working Group has, in the past three years, focused on concrete experience exchange including per-reviewing policy and RFP drafts, exchanging vendor information and regular horizon-scanning on external developments, research and good practices.
The group has collated various good practice examples for both areas , and agreed on a Performance Management maturity model for organizations on a self-assessment basis.
In the area of Staff Engagement, the group is currently concluding on a suggested set of core items for routine inclusion in organizational surveys, had provided extensive sharing of experience and materials for follow-up post-survey action planning and has established a first version of cross-organizational benchmarking of engagement survey results with a view to analyze more deeply cross-organizational patterns of staff engagement.
The group is co-chaired by WFP and UNOPS, with all interested organizations participating including HRN observer organizations (such as OPCW and OSEC) and other invitees (such as the World Bank).
