UNSCN is the food and nutrition policy harmonization forum of the United Nations. The mandate of the UNSCN is to promote cooperation among UN agencies and partner organizations in support of community, national, regional, and international efforts to end malnutrition in all of its forms in this generation. It will do this by refining the direction, increasing the scale and strengthening the coherence and impact of actions against malnutrition world wide, and raise awareness of nutrition problems and mobilize commitment to solve them at global, regional and national levels.
The UN System Task Team was established by the UN Secretary-General to support system-wide preparations for the post-2015 UN development agenda, in consultation with all stakeholders, including Member States, civil society, academia and the private sector. It brings together over 60 UN entities and agencies and international organizations. It supports the multi-stakeholder consultations being led by Member States on a post-2015 global development agenda, by providing analytical inputs, expertise and outreach.
The United Nations Global Compact Inter-Agency Team is a group of UN entities with a strong interest in:ensuring coherent support for the internalization of the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact both within the United Nations System and among all Global Compact participants; and encouraging and supporting constructive UN-business relationships in support of UN goals, including the UN Global Compact.
UN Action Against Sexual Violence in Conflict (UN Action) unites the work of 13 UN entities with the goal of ending sexual violence in conflict. It is a concerted effort by the UN system to improve coordination and accountability, amplify programming and advocacy, and support national efforts to prevent sexual violence and respond effectively to the needs of survivors.

The United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service (NGLS) was established in 1975 by several UN agencies to serve as a UN System-civil society interface. Since its creation, the UN General Assembly has recognized the value of NGLS’ work on several occasions, in 1982 and again, in 1993. Formally established in 2008, the Partnership for Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR) is a global alliance of UN agencies, NGOs and specialist institutes. As a global thematic platform of the International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR), PEDRR seeks to promote and scale-up implementation of ecosystem-based disaster risk reduction and ensure it is mainstreamed in development planning at global, national and local levels, in line with the Hyogo Framework for Action.

The EMG was established in 1999 pursuant to by General Assembly resolution 53/242 as recommended by the Secretary-General in his report on Environment and Human Settlements (A/53/463).
EMG is a grouping of all UN agencies and Secretariats of Multilateral Environmental Agreements as well as the Bretton Woods Institutions and the World Trade Organization working together.

The Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition (FSN Forum) is a global on-line community facilitated by the Food and Agriculture (FAO).
